University Communications manages UVA’s primary social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, Twitter and YouTube. Our social media team constantly applies new strategies and tactics to increase UVA’s reach and cultivate existing audiences and drive engagement.
We tell stories about life-changing opportunities and discoveries. We celebrate victories on and off the field. We provide support and resources to our community. And we maintain our sense of humor: We helped take UVA’s April Fool’s video to the #11 trending video on YouTube, surpassing a million impressions across platforms.
