Retro isn't just history; it's one of the coolest looks on Grounds, a look re-created by University Communications.

The Virginia Vintage Collection is the product of months of research through the UVA archives, finding inspiration in uniforms, historical photography, yearbooks and student newspapers, game programs, posters, ticket stubs, swag, and even the iconic diamond pattern painted onto the end zone of Scott Stadium. University Communications designers carefully recreated vintage logos to represent UVA over the past 50 years.

The line was launched at Homecoming 2021 and expanded significantly in 2025. The Virginia Vintage Collection continues to appeal to alumni who want to wear their memories and to students, faculty and staff who want to look hip while honoring UVA’s rich heritage.
